-2026-
Since 1976. Step into the echocardiography professional community with hands-on and analytical skills that often take years to master. Supportive instruction in complete imaging, Doppler, and TDI protocols.
Since 1978. Precise imaging technique and clear clinical thinking stand behind every arterial and venous protocol, from head to toe. Learn from the team that helped pioneer it.
Since 1988. A systematic process for documenting every abdominal organ system with imaging and Doppler—clearly taught and clinically grounded.
Completely live micro-classes.
Held regularly in Dallas, Texas.
Custom tutorial training at your site.
Since 1985. Learn the systematic process for documenting fetal anatomy, growth, and well-being using precise imaging and Doppler techniques. We'll learn on live pregnant patients..
Master the careful, respectful technique to identify and evaluate the non gravid uterus and adnexa using imaging and color/spectral Doppler. Confident identification of ovaries and their follicles. Live scanning. Since 1988
Master the radial and quadrant protocols for tactile mapping of the breast, that can increase detection by 15%. Quickly document and systematically analyze areas of suspicion with weighted criteria. Since 1988.
Since 1987. A focused, hands-on approach to the eFAST, RUSH, and FATE protocols for clinicians using bedside ultrasound.
Master both the machine and the probe, ready for the bedside exam.

FAQs
Who can attend?
Our mission is to empower care providers with the hands-on and mental skills to leverage the power of ultrasound imaging and Doppler technology to the benefit of their patients. Our courses offer intro to advanced skills to launch, expand, or renew their service in care for others. Our approach is transformational, not transactional.
How small are classes?
Each class has just four participants per class for personalized training. This model mirrors the ideal format for adult learning: it allows us the time and flexibility in leading and supporting you along your learning experience without pressure.
How can I learn pathologies in such a short time?
All clinical competency starts with normal. Next comes abstract spatial reasoning, understanding artifacts, and the physics basis of displayed patterns. They're at our core.
Pathology is forever different. The role of ultrasound is to confidently and completely survey the organ and identify normal from suspected abnormal, and classify abnormal into evidence-based categories. We go farther: we match the elements of image and Dopler data to the physics, histology and clinical findings to explain it, in terms that are straightforward and lifelong memorable from the start.
Is feedback immediate?
Yes, we give continuous supportive bedside feedback to validate and improve your skills. Thus, there are no quizzes or formal exams. Our deep experience and passion for your success drives our respect, empathy and skill in leading you forward with support, not intimidation. We help set you on the proper trajectory for life.
How long is mentorship?
Our free mentorship lasts a lifetime, supporting your ultrasound journey. You become a special part of our worldwide Alumni and our private and public social media sites keep us connected.
What makes KMA different?
