Each of us in Healthcare should adopt a personal professional Cause, something for which we’re known to be passionate about, something we’re willing to take additional initiative for.

In case you’ve yet to adopt one, we suggest Stroke.  It usually takes a back seat to heart attack, so there’s room to grow.

Sinai Medical Center has released its report on the initial experience with Mobile Thrombectomy Response Teams, taking the battle to the patient in smaller non-specialized centers instead of the other way around.  The same concept has been underway in Berlin, Germany for several years.
